Introduction
An experience to live the beauty around the Algar River: its flora and fauna, the white houses of Altea and the natural harbor, with roots from Roman times.
Description
About 15 minutes by bus from Benidorm is the picturesque and beautiful town of Altea. Guided tour of its old town located on top of a hill to which we will go up with our bus. Magnificent views of the coast and mountains. Narrow streets with whitewashed houses in a curious contrast to the neighboring city of Villajoyosa whose houses are painted in colors. Our guide will explain, through our modern guide radio transmitters, the peculiarities of this municipality. Then we will return to the bus to go to the famous Fuentes del Algar 20 minutes from this city.
Once in Algar, and with the help of our expert guide, we will take a tour of the flora and fauna of this beautiful path between mountains and waterfalls of the river that bears the same name as the park; Algar River.
Hiking route: It is important to bring suitable and comfortable footwear to do some sport on an easy level trail, although it has some stairs to go up and down.
During the summer it is advisable to wear bathing clothes. There are magnificent pools of water where it is common to take a refreshing swim in the waters of this spring.

- Days of the week: Thursday, 9:00 - 14:00h.
- Schedule and pick- ups: Between 09:00 - 09:30h. depending on the hotel and the pick-up point. Please check it. Return around 14:00 - 14:30h.
- For private groups over 20 people, we can organize this excursion any day and at any time.
- Operational excursion only in summer season: between 1 may to October 15.
Tips
- Bring suitable footwear, water bottle, sunglasses and sun protection.
- For families with babies; bring a stroller.
- Note: The Algar Park area is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
