Guadalest – Polop

Valleys, crops and towns in the interior.

Introduction

On a journey through the valleys of the interior, with its crops of medlars, avocado and citrus, we will visit a town considered one of the most beautiful in Spain: Guadalest. Formerly Benidorm was the fishing district of the town of Polop, where we will meet the famous “jets” in its square.

Description

Guadalest
The morning to enjoy the contrast between the valleys and municipalities of the interior with those of the coast. We will cross green valleys of loquats, avocados and citrus fruits, until we reach one of the most popular towns, considered one of the 10 most beautiful in Spain: Guadalest.

During the tour of our region, known as Marina Baja, the guide will tell you its history, anecdotes, agriculture and other information of interest.

Already in Guadalest, we will accompany you on a guided tour of the entire municipality. They will have free time to shop or visit one of the many museums (the guide will inform them of the prices and possible discounts for groups and other details of each of them).

Polop
Another great municipality with a lot of hidden heritage. It was the “head” of this region when Benidorm was only the “fishing district of Polop”. You will see a beautiful square with 221 natural water pipes, known as “los chorros” and immortalized by the poet Gabriel Miró. The museum of this poet is located next to said square and they can visit it freely.
